Painting aftercare

Looking after your beautiful, new piece of art is really important, so please follow these recommendations to help its preservation:

1. Avoid hanging your art in bright light or direct sunlight to reduce the risk of fading. Choose a shaded wall to hang if possible.

2. Avoid a moist or humid environment such as a bathroom, as whilst the acrylic paint is waterproof, the moisture can warp the frame and canvas stretcher bars.

3. Avoid excessive heat which can damage the artwork and frame. Avoid hanging above a hot radiator or fire.

4. Do not use cleaning products on canvas paintings as this could be damaging to both the varnish and paint. Instead, dust lightly with a soft feather duster. The frame can be cleaned with a light polish applied to a soft cloth if necessary,
