FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Care Instructions

Art mediums and surfaces used are lightfast and should not cause any yellowing with age. However you are advised to keep the artwork out of direct sunlight.
Paint mediums are waterproof but it is advised that you avoid hanging canvas artwork in very moist and humid environments such as bathrooms as this could cause warping of the wooden frame.

Gift Wrapping & Packaging

All artworks are wrapped in acid free tissue paper and biodegradable bubble wrap before being placed in cardboard packaging.
If the item is a gift, a personalised gift card can be included at no extra cost. Please email me with your message requirements.

Custom Orders

Bespoke artwork requests are welcomed. If a particular colour theme or size is required, please complete my no obligation order form or message me with your requirements and I’ll be happy to provide a quote.

When will I receive my order?

Acrylic paintings take between 2 and six weeks to complete before they are ready for shipping. The paint needs a sufficient time to fully dry before being finished with varnish and this will depend on the thickness of the paint used. The varnish then needs up to two weeks before being shipped, again dependant on factors like ambient temperature, number of layers required. If collecting, this timeframe will be less.

This time scale is in addition to any waiting list I may have for artworks.

Portraits generally take no more than a week to complete and are ready to ship immediately. There is often a waiting list for my portraits which you will be advised of at the point of order.

How much is postage?

Postage/packing to UK mainland addresses is included in the price via Royal Mail Signed For 48 hour delivery service or Parcelforce. Confirmation of posting will be emailed to include a tracking number.

Do you ship internationally?

Overseas orders will are accepted subject to initial communication and confirmation. International postage charges will vary according to destination and are charged at the applicable rate.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

A 50% deposit is payable at the time of order to commence work. The balance is due on completion, before shipping.

What if I'm not happy with my artwork?

If you are not happy with the artwork at the e-image stage, or the painting itself arrives damaged, I will endeavour to correct or re-do it at no extra charge.
In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with your artwork for any other reason when it arrives, please get in touch straight away for a resolution.
